<p>So i got assigned to Townsend hall and I been hearing a lot of rumors about it. like
1) Most anti-social dorm
2) Mostly engineers/science majors
3) not a lot of freshmen
I was wondering if these are mostly true?</p>
<p>I’m an incoming freshman, so I have no experience with it, either, but I’ve heard the second and third quite often. I think #2 must be true, because ISR is quite close to engineering quad, after all.</p>
<p>By the way, when did you get your hall assignment, and had you applied before the deadline? I haven’t gotten mine yet, and I’m getting really antsy :</p>
<p>Khione - If you applied by the deadline, you should have received your assignment a while ago. I think I received mine the first half of June. Just waiting to hear about a roommate now</p>
<p>I applied some time after the deadline. In hindsight, that was a very poor choice 
It’s really bugging me that while most people are getting their roommate assignments I’ve not even gotten my housing assignment yet! I’m just going to wait this week out because they said all housing info will be posted online this week. Once the week is done I’ll email them.</p>
