Hello!

I got a 5 on Physics C Mechanics (it surprised me), so now I have the option of using AP credit to get out of Physics 7A. As a BioE major, is this a good idea?

The 7B sections remaining have 8am lecture/lab/discussion. Is that tradeoff worth getting a semester ahead for Physics?

Thank you!

Here are some old Physics 7A exams:

You may want to try them to decide whether you should skip Physics 7A based on your AP credit.

If you’re interested in the biomechanics side of BioE, then perhaps you should take 7A to brush up on your fundamentals. But otherwise, take your reward for getting 5 on your Mechanics exam.
