Congratulations Foil! It's a great school! My son's first choice and he is so happy there. He is living in North -- great party and social dorm. He really likes it. Leavey Library is very nearby so if it gets too loud, you can always go there to study.

My lottery time is the 12th at 11. Does anyone know if this will give me and my roommates a really good chance of getting what we want? We are still a little worried because we're not sure how many people are alotted for one time. If anyone has any info, that would be great! Thanks.

12th at 11 is a really good time. You probably have a really good chance of getting the place that you want.

i got shafted once again... february 22 at 12 ....

^i didn't even think they contracted past February 16? if you got the 22nd, then you REALLY got shafted :p i thought i had it pretty bad...the 16th at 1:30...but then my future roommate got the 12th at 10:45. i was concerned for a bit, but it looks like we should be getting Webb.

phobos, selection times for upperclassmen begin February 20. hobofromdowntown, you actually got a fairly good time. My selection time is 2/22 at 2:45 PM.

do you know if i could possibly get on campus or close to campus housing like cardinal gardens, centruy or THE with my times?

i got shafted this semester because i literally got my housing contract a week before i had to move in and i got placed in the boonies.

"D" got Tuesday, Feb 13th in the afternoon. Anyone with experience know if she could possibly get her first choice? :)

Forgot to add....her first choice is Webb in a 1 bedroom....

Haha I have the same question...except my roommates and I want the two bedroom one at Webb and our time is Monday at 11. Anyone with experience know if we are basically guaranteed?

Housing is waaayy too stressful!

I get the feeling it's every 15 or 30 minutes, and one person goes at that time. The one thing I do know about Webb is that they are holding a certain amount of suites for juniors and seniors, and those will be released after the sophomores go. It seems to me if you have a lottery time on Monday or Tuesday, you have a pretty good chance of getting Webb, but that will solely depend on how many before you chose Webb.

(Wow, Webb must be really nice now. LOL Every person my S knows is trying for Webb.)

Good luck to everyone!

One of my daughter's future suitemates got a Monday lottery time, and they are hoping for Webb too!

its because webb is right on campus next to the gym and everything.

cardinal gardens and century isn't bad either, its literally across the street from school.

ugh, I can't even search for rooms yet but it says I already confirmed my room.

i got Webb...and at that, i got the 15th floor! man, i'm psyched.

Got Webb studio on the 10th floor (i think it can change so it doesn't really matter. I rather be on lower floors to tell you the truth) If any of you girls like staying up til like 2-4 and want a roommate who doesn't care, gimme a note or something, lol. All my girl friends got a single and all the guy friends are sticking together. This sucks.

My daughter is hearing from her current roommate that Webb and maybe Troy were already gone as of 11:00 a.m. -- can that be possible, that they don't even last half a day?

The person in her suite next year with the best time is this afternoon, they are feeling discouraged. They had thought if they had a time on Day 1 there was a good chance they'd get at least their second choice, if not first. What is anyone else hearing?

honestly, if we had gotten 14th, i don't think i would have been as happy. i considered the practical implications of the 15th floor, and figured that saying we got the "penthouse" was worth a couple extra seconds on the elevator haha (because when it comes down to it...that's most of the difference between floors 4 and 15, bar fires). anyways, i would have been happy anywhere in Webb.

yeah, a lot of my floormates with 12 o'clock times couldn't get Webb or Troy Hall, which really amazed me...i'm starting to think this was a bit of bad planning on the part of Trojan Housing (if you couldn't already tell by the sketchy nature of the website...).

PBKMom, According to two of son's friends, Webb was sold out really fast this morning, I don't know what time. They must be holding back a lot of suites for juniors and seniors.

Did they go for bedrooms? i shot for the cheapest studio. Maybe that did it? hmm. Because like 2 hours ago, there were still studios that were empty and availble. It's easier to just look for a space for just yourself rather than you and 3 of your friends... hm.

Just FYI if you read some more info on the website, they said they can change your room at any time... those bastards. once again i just shot for the lowest floor because.. i really don't mind i guess. 15th floor does sound cool though.
