<p>I've made tons of these. At first I was embarassed by them; I would hope for someone to respond to them.</p>

<p>I think I only have had a few of these. Generally they were about things no one else knew about. I don’t start threads that often. It’s generally a waste of time IMO.</p>

<p>I have posted threads before with no replies. I think that they got no replies because they were too long and people have really short attention spans.</p>
<p>I also think about it this way: would you rather post threads on a website in which alot of the users have no idea who you are in real life, or would you rather say something in a group conversation with friends and have them all ignore what you said? Ha, hopefully the second one has not happened to you as well.</p>
