Three Questions

How long should the Ross Preferred Admit essay be? If I turn in my app the first week of September, is that still considered early? What are my chances for the school and for PA with a 31 ACT (trying and hoping for 33+), 780 and 710 on SAT IIs, UMich GPA: 4.0, Hardest courses possible, Captain Varsity basketball team, President of NHS, DECA, and maybe FBLA, Nevada Boys State Delegate, Science Club, RYLA Nominee, AP Scholar, State Runner Up DECA Competition, Outstanding Service (110 + hours) Award, NHS President's Award, once live in Michigan now live in Nevada, and mom didnt finish high school. Thanks for the input.

Look on the application guidelines and if it's not there, then I have no idea.

VERY EARLY(the word "early" in rolling admissions probably applies well into October)

You will definitely get into UM since your stats are well above the norm and you have excellent leadership in activities and what not. I personally think that you need to have at least a 34 on the ACT to be competitive for UM LSA/Shipman/etc. scholarships if you need that sort of thing and even possibly Ross Preferred Admit.

Thank you evil asian dictator. Can I get someone elses perspective for questions 1 and 3? Thanks.

My essay was around 350 words. I'd just try to keep it at around the same size as the other essays they ask you to write.

Admission into Ross PA is mostly dependent on how well you can communicate your business experience and desire in your essay. So we really can't tell you how good you have a shot at it... you definitely have good stats, but your essay will make or break your chances of pre-admission

Can anyone else answer questions 3 concerning chances

As was said before, the scores you have to get into Ross PA are probably sufficient. The essay is critical, which is why we cannot give you a definite evaluation of your "chance". You must be able to dictate a passion for business utilizing your past experiences. Ross highly stresses the essay. Given you write a very good essay, I'd say you have a good chance for PA. I've heard of people with similar/lower scores getting in simply because they were able to show their passion for business through their essay.
