I really can not decide between three teachers, all of whom have offered to write me letters for CommonApp if I am so inclined. I feel as though all three would be very strong and I think they would cover different aspects of who I am. One has had me for two years for math, another for three years in the journalism class I am Editor-in-Chief for, the other was my APUSH teacher last year. I feel as though they all write well, but I have no way to access which would be better. Is it that bad of an idea to send three teacher letters, especially if the counselor letter is coming from a counselor that just began working at my school mid-way through last school year?

send all three. its not an uncommon thing to do. i know im sending three. 2 junior year teachers, then last night my physics teacher (at a parent teacher conference) told my parents he wanted to write me one b/c i have a 100 avg in his class and blah blah blah. i emailed my counselor and she told me to go ahead and send three

The three you describe are fine, particularly since your GC is new.

im only gonna send three, im going to read all four and see which is best.

Are you sure that your teachers are willing to show you their LOR? Many are not, they send them straight to the colleges. Also, you'll have to say on applications that you DON'T give up the right to see LORs.
