Tilghman backs affirmative action

I don't think I can ever revel in frigidity. The best part of winter is being inside, near a warm fire, sipping hot chocolate (or mocha...mm coffeeeee)

ya i know. it was all asians. my elementary school was like i was sent back to china lol.

haha that's like my school right now. It's 80% asian, and in each of my AP/IB classes, at most, there's like 1 or 2 white people and that's it.

Ahhhhh I can't stand that. That's why I didn't go to stuyvesant. I love being around non asian people :p

no it was so sad. growing up in hacienda heights...wow. i didnt even know what santa was cuz no one celebrated xmas. i was a deprived american child. and then i move to arizona to mesa (the uber asian area here) and everyone there listened to damn asian music. i was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME! and so i moved to scottsdale where the WASPS dominate lol. and the rich jews

haha the only white people at my school are jews.

yea pretty much the same here. but they're not like REAL jews, just jappy ones.

oh jewish people. i love them. i celebrated hannukah with my friend last nite. it was great

my friends brother's barmitzvah is on saturday!

man i had some potato pancakes when i was like in 2nd grade, it was great. Not very much practicing jew up heezy though.

oh i love bar mitzvahs! WHoOO!!!! i miss the good days of turning 13 :(

yes... 13, when college apps were the last things on my mind.

haha oh god college apps. i havent done like anything else yet :( my mom is mad

majority of the people in asia dont know princeton.

[/quote]

Yeah when I tell ppl I applied to Princeton, most of them ask me "Where is it?"

hey icy, what city are you in? I'm from socal too.

ever hear of chino hills.. diamond bar.. walnut?

i told one of my father's professor's that i was applying to princeton and he just nodded. when i talked about nebraska, he got all excited b/c they have a good football team.

my aunt asked me if i was going to harvard. i said no, i wanted to go to Princeton. she was just like "whatever"

ugh! the ignorance of some ppl

lol. haha. thats sad :(. but sometimes i like it that way. a lotta people look at harvard students as only going there for the prestige and not actually enjoying their college experience. i dont like that stereotype :D

shrek, i have to say that i agree 732.5 %

do you mean 73.25?
