Hey everyone. I'm new to the board and i had a quick question. I've always been athletic as well as a good student, and in high school I'm a three-sport athlete while keeping my grades at the top of the class. I know that Cornell sports are extremely demanding, and since I'm more academically driven, I will most likely give up sports to have more time to study (if I get in lol). My question:
If I stick with only my favorite sport (lacrosse) instead of three, do you guys think I will have time to play intramural or club lax (no D-1 for me) and mantain good grades? btw I'm applying to the School of Engineering.
Thanks a lot,
Cesar

play whatever you can manage, theres D1 Varsity and various club levels, all the way down to intramural (a team of your friends or from your residence hall). The sport is just as fun whether you're playing highly competitively or at a more "just for fun" level. You should definitely be fine if you play intramural, and you might be good enough for/have enough time to play club.
