Time Management

I find it hard to manage my time. I will have a sport every trimestester and so i wont be hom until 6 and then i eat and dont get unpacked until 6:30. I go to a prestigious private school and theirs usually tons of things to do. All books we work out of are a year in advance. Some times i just randomly do other things while doing hw or studying and dont realise it. I'm only a freshman and my grades are probably around B through A- and i reaaaly want to go to Brown. So any suggestions?

Being a freshman as well, I suggest you do stuff when you wake up in the morning... That's what I do, but it kinda depends on when you wake up, what time school starts, etc. etc. You'll manage eventually... (I'm still finding odd ways of managing)

When it's time to do work, make sure you turn off the computer and the TV. If you need to the computer to type or do research, turn off AIM (or other messenging program) and close the internet browser until you actually need it.

You can also try treating yourself; this worked for me. Like, "after you finish 15 math problems, you can call your boyfriend." Or, "after you write 2 paragraphs of the essay, you can go get a cookie."
