Time to visit

I am planning on visiting Georgetown during Spring Break. My schedule has me at Georgetown on Friday, April 10, which happens to be Good Friday. My goal is to see the school in session with all the students walking around. Did I make a mistake scheduling time at Catholic School on Good Friday? Will classes even be in session. Will students be leaving campus in droves that weekend?

Unfortunately, school will be out for Easter from the 8th to the 14th (Georgetown University Registrar | 2008-2009 Academic Calendar ). From what I'm told, more people stick around during Easter than Spring break, but generally, yes, the campus will be fairly empty.

the admissions office will be closed that day too, so no info sessions or tours.

yeah less people leave for easter break than spring break, but a lot of people do leave, so it'll be somewhat empty.

I visited during my spring break when I was in high school and it was really a great time to do so. But as everyone else has said thus far, it's better to come earlier in the week. Wednesday, April 8th is the latest day on which you should consider coming as our Easter Break begins after our last class on that day.
