Tips for Completing Summer Work in 2 Days...

Of course, I've waited until the very last minute to start my summer work. Classes start on Thursday and I have to finish two books for Honors English (To Kill A Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies). Any tips?

Put your head down and read.

^ Indeed. Two great books, just read them.

Don’t procrastinate next year, anyway from what I know neither is very long/hard. Get off CC and read.

Just keep reading both books. I read nearly a thousand pages in less than 10 days, and the bigger book had small text and huge pages.

I did something like that the day before, but with 1 book and had to write a report/analysis. It’s possible, just read and comprehend pretty fast and focus, DO NOT get distracted.

I LOVED THOSE BOOKS but sadly did not read To Kill A Mockingbird because my class saw the movie as a unit. I did indeed self read Lord of the Flies epic ending. Like everyone else said just read non stop and take advill because you might get a massive headache for two days like I did when I finished The Great Gatsby in one day.

I did NOT like The Great Gatsby, one of my summer reading books, very formal compared to my other books, it was a shock.

Get off right now and read them after seeing these posts. I read like 500 page books in about 4-7 days. so you should be able to make it. Read NON STOP

Tip 1: get off the internet.

Not very hard at all. If you love reading like I do, you can easily read both books in a few hours…great books btw.

@Kaeroze :(:(:frowning: its a acquired taste lol.

I have all this Alg II (from summer class) to finish by the start of next week so I’m in the same issue. I had To Kill a Mockingbird assigned for summer HW for Eng II Hon. I finished it in the begining of summer and did all of the work. I’m warning you ahead of time that TKaM is much much better than LotF.

brb crying because someone didn’t like the great gatsby

@Josiah; go read TKAM for funsies, it’s great. though I love the movie, gregory peck is amazing.

I’m in kind of the same situation. School starts tomorrow, and I have all this analysis work to do for Fahrenheit 451. I’ve finished the book, but I’m supposed to write three “journal” things on it, and I’ve only done one. Well, better get off CC and start working.
