Hi everyone, I'll be going to the explore USC tomorrow, could anyone who has done the interviews give some advice please? thanks

Crap, I should probably get ready for that. What are we supposed to pack?

-Oren

check ur email... usc sent something after u confirmed with a list of stuff to bring.

You'll need a sleeping bag, and maybe an umbrella in case it rains again. You have to wear nice clothes on Friday for your interview, but you can wear more comfortable clothes on Thursday.

So am I supposed to wear a suit for the interview?

yeah, most people did anyone. the interview is really relaxed. i would just really recommend being personable with your interviewers and having good eye contact and gestures... thats really key in my opinion. its a fun time though too. enjoy

are jeans and a nice dress shirt, tennis shoes okay for the 1st day?

air plane woot

Be confident, but not cocky. They want YOU. You are a scholarship applicant. Also remember that you are interviewing the school as much as they are interviewing you. Be honest, sincere - Dont BS the interviewers, they can see right through it (I promise). Have fun and dont be nervous - this isnt a job interview - the people that will be interviewing WANT you to get the scholarship. Just enjoy the experience and dont worry about the interview (be prepared, but dont stress over it). Good luck and FIGHT ON!

prepare for the question, "Why would you want to go to USC?" and research a little into USC's multiple major system
