<p>I don’t recommend taking a nap; it’s a really easy habit to get sucked into and it doesn’t work for everyone. Everyone has their own REM cycle pattern (forgive me if my terminology is wrong), but chances are because you can’t sleep long enough to fully complete your sleep cycle, you’ll disrupt it and wake up groggier/more lethargic than before. An hour nap is the worst. Although I suppose if it was only ten minutes, that wouldn’t do much harm-but I wouldn’t be able to control myself, I’d just end up letting myself sleep 10 more minutes, then 20, and so on…
I suppose coffee isn’t good if its effects last that long on you. For me though, coffee helps keep me from napping and so at night, I can fall asleep normally.</p>
<p>Wash your face… that’s what my dad tells me to do after he realizes I’ve fallen asleep already.</p>
