<p>Hey, I'm an incoming freshman at VT for engineering, and I'm really worried about being weeded out. </p>
<p>I'm taking classes at VT over the summer to reduce the workload, but do you guys have any tips with study habits, testtaking, etc. at VT?</p>

<p>As long as you’re smart about registering for classes (e.g. get Chang for Physics, Trivedi for Chemistry, etc.) and your work ethic is decent, I wouldn’t worry too much about getting weeded out. Believe me, there are some people who completely fall apart in college, I’ve been in groups with people who were just plain irresponsible. Those are the people getting weeded out, not the people going to class, study sessions, and doing their homework.</p>
