Tips on Retaking ACT During College

I got a 24 on my ACT during high school and I am trying to get up to at least a 30. Does anyone have any advice on how to get up at least 6 or 7 points for a college student?

If you don’t already have it, get the red book and take its practice tests. Also, read through this forum for tips to improve your score. Why are you retaking the ACT?

I’d take a practice test and see how you do. Many students find that they get higher scores on the ACT either end of Junior or beginning of senior when compared to end of soph or beginning of junior. I’d assume the same holds true, and you should naturally score better on the test with no prep.

Lots and lots of practice. I got a 24 in high school and raised it to 32 during my first year of community college. The strongest improvement was english, which I raised from 20 to 34.
