So excited- like lots of other folks, with the last final underway (as i post this) we will be getting our plebe home today- and we get to keep him for 3 whole weeks! My cup runneth over!

Hope their are lots of wonderful homecomings today! Enjoy your mid-doolie-cadet-coastie-and newbie- we have all the thorpedo's favorite foods stocked in the house and can't wait to wake up and find him sleeping in his own bed!

Ours just called--she survived chem and is on her way to BWI! I'm off to wash the sheets (from the dog climbing up there last night). We're planning on surprising her with lots of friends at our tiny little airport and even picking her up in the firetruck! She'll be mortified, but secretly love it...

That first year home is sooooo beyond great. You guys enjoy! Watch them sleeping every chance you get. Freaks them out but you're gonna love it. :)

It sure is quiet on the parents board. I guess we are all busy enjoying our "kids" (I use that word loosely since my son is most definitely not a kid anymore).

My son got home from NMMI on Friday night. We got good news on Saturday...he got all A's for first semester. Then more good news on Monday...he got a nomination to USMA from our congressman. It will be a very Merry Christmas this year!!!! :D
