<p>This pertains to ALL of NYU. Such emails went out today for all schools and programs at NYU.</p>
<p>My S did not get the e-mail, but I think that all of the acceptances have gone out. The e-mails went out on a Friday at or around 4 p.m. eastern time. I doubt a second wave will come out tomorrow. And I have checked the other Tisch “majors”, and they all are announcing that the e-mail went out.</p>
<p>To those who did not receive the e-mail, deep breath - April will bring many more responses. Your day will come too.</p>

<p>D received her email yesterday afternoon!!! And her 18th birthday is today so she is very happy.
I also heard that not all of the accepted students get an invitation, so it’s still possible to be accepted.</p>

<p>Does anyone know details about this mention of “Events off-campus in 13 cities…”, in yesterday’s email? What cities, and maybe disadvantages of going to these “off-campus events”?</p>
<p>OK, so the White Elephant in the room here seems to be… what percentage of all accepted students for the Class of 2014 are NOT invited to the accepted student event, and further, does anyone really understand the criteria used for those that are “invited and then accepted” and those that are “not invited and then accepted”?</p>

<p>Last week we notified all freshman applicants of upcoming deadlines and event dates for our admissions process. Now, we write to you - and only a select group of applicants - again to remind you of our events for accepted students:</p>
<p>April 9-11: Events on campus for accepted students. These events are by invitation only, and RSVP instructions will be sent only to accepted applicants.</p>
<p>April 17-18: Events off-campus in 13 cities across the US for accepted students. These events are by invitation only, and RSVP instructions will be sent only to accepted applicants.</p>
<p>While your decision packet will not be mailed for another 2 weeks, it might be a good idea for you to start checking into travel plans to visit campus.</p>

<p>i didnt audition for tisch, i auditioned for steinhardt but i got the accepted students visit email too.</p>
<p>I GOT THE EMAIL. I spazzed out in the middle of class while we were supposed to be researching anglo saxon values inferred from Beowulf. It was exciting. I auditioned for all of the studios in Tisch so am excited to see which it will be for. It has been my dream school since I was 11. It’s a load off to finally have some idea 
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the admit. I thought my audition went terribly… but i’m never really a good judge… haha. Well, hopefully it’s for the new broadway studio, but I have other options if for some reason it is only for liberal arts… that would be sad. Well, goodluck everyone! And I expect some major posting when you all start figuring out which programs you are accepted into! One week until they start sending eeeeeep.</p>
