Have any of you guys taken or heard about Sight & Sound: Film over the summer session? I already signed up for the course, and I was extremely excited to start it as soon as possible. (I'm not that interested in documentary filmmaking, and I don't plan to take the Studio course.)

However, a friend of mine heard that the course suffers from the condensed time-frame. He said it's an "experience" that should be saved for the regular semester.

Now I'm really conflicted. I may be able to swap classes to Sight & Sound: Documentary, but I was looking forward to spending my summer taking a class I'm truly enthusiastic about. (This isn't to say filmmaking doesn't excite me in general; I'm just not personally interested in creating documentaries.)

What would you guys do in my situation?
