<p>I was thinking that since a lot of internationals seemed to be getting contacts, that perhaps a lot of accepted students from abroad got scared off from the costs and economic crisis and now they would look to only fill their international quota but I guess US students are still in for it too.</p>

<p>Not necessarily. There’s a lot of people on the waitlist and I’m sure they can only contact so many people in one day. Wait out a couple more days.</p>
<p>ahhh ok, i have all my things set up for ucla, my housing offer came yesterday and im signed up for a summer program… i want to know before it’s too late and i have to pay a bunch of fees…</p>

<p>i got an email from Michael Bateman (south cal) and im pretty sure its a good sign since it talks about how we are the very few that they are considering at this point.</p>
