To bring a printer or not?

Freshman student entering Walker Center dorm in a couple weeks. Can’t find if OU has copy credit for university printers
or not as some colleges do. Engineering is course of study.

Don’t need one. There’s a computer lab on the main floor of Walker with printers. Has either $5.00 or $10.00 of printer credit per semester. That credit applies at other printing locations like the library. If he runs over, the charge will just go to his or her bursar and it’s not ridiculously expensive. Definitely cheaper than buying a printer + ink + paper.

If you have a printer you can afford to get rid of, bring it. If not, it’s not a big deal. As WoolScarves mentioned, there are a number of printers in Walker, the engineering buildings, and around campus. That being said, I’m so glad I have a printer, especially since I like to print out my powerpoints and the cost of printing would have added up fast.
