I interviewed this past weekend at a college, and like an idiot waited until I got home (monday evening) before sending out thank you stuff. I mailed out the thank you cards today, but there will be a blizzard this week near the area so it may get delayed. Should I email them too so that my thank you card gets there before decisions? I just feel like it might look really rude if they dont get it, and honestly i dont think it will matter, but someone else was telling me that it could affect my admission.

Nah, don’t worry about it. It will not affect admission in any way. People send thank you cards because it’s a nice gesture, not because the thankyou card will be stapled to your application and make adcoms like you more.

^so should i send it? Honestly i think i should because theres a chance of the handwritten note getting lost in the mail too :/. stupid blizzard :(. anywhoo I should say different stuff in there right?

Did you even read my post?

There’s no reason to send the email. If it makes you feel better, feel free, but it won’t change your admission in ANY way, and your hand written letter will arrive regardless.
