Okay so, My school has this freshman mentor program. The idea is that upperclasssmen get to tutor and mentor freshmen kids. I am a rising Junior and have all honrs and an AP and participate in orchestra, track & cross country (varsity). My question is whether it would be worth it to sign up. I was thinking it would be great for college but considering it takes up study hall, would it be really worth that much?

If you would like to do it, do it. If you would not like to do it, skip it. If you’d be doing it just because “it would be great for college,” you’d be wasting your time, and perhaps also depriving an underclassman of the chance to have a mentor who wanted to be there.
