Hey I havent posted in awhile because I have been busy with the whole transfer admissions. Anyways im here to give some juicy gossip on the Business School admissions. Basically, from what I have heard, only 4.0s will be accepted... As a matter of fact you can quote me on that. Ever since the budget cuts, UF has been going crazy. The admissions officer basically hinted there is a stack of 17 papers only for transfer acceptance into Warrignton. Just thought you would like to know. If you do not have a 4.0 your prob not going to get in, im not joking either.

only for Warrington or for undergrad transfer in general?

Warrington....

is the business school that competitive at UF?? i never knew that. i hope engineering isnt that bad in 2 years.lol. who am i kidding, i will need a 4.5 by then.

Business is the most popular degree out of UF. Too many sophomore business majors means less junior transfers.

Popular as in the majority of people are in it.

Well it's the Legislator's fault. The House and Senate axed the heck out of the Education budget, and really made higher education take a beating in what was appropriated to them. The Legislature warned this would happen and they did it any way.

I do not blame UF for admitting less students, and the sad news is that the budget cuts look to get worse next session.

UF is projected to reduce the total number of Undergraduates by 4,000 over a 4 year period. The Transfer students are projected to take the hardest hit.

Charley Christ whos motto had to do with supporting florida education "no matter what" does not seem to be evident in Florida now.

He lied.

Charlie is just concerned with becoming Vice President on the McCain ticket.

The Legislature just sucks at funding education. But I kind of understand because if we created an Income Tax then none of the Seniors would come down and our Tax-Base would be garbage.

It's going to take a couple years for the FL's economy to pick back up. 3 years of economic downturn projected. Primarily because of rampant speculation on the Real Estate market.

I do not understand why Christ wants to be with McCain and then advocates fund cuts. Is McCain not trying to pick up young university student votes from Obama?

Obama has raised a disgusting amount over the internet by College student donations. McCain is not doing so well with this demographic, and it may cost him during the General Election.

Now let's just see if these young Obama supporters will even show up on Nov 4th.

Whooooooo Obama!!!!! Yes We Can!!!!!!!!!!!
