Don’t retake. Anything above 33 is fine for top universities. Your time would be better spent doing other activities to enhance your application. Test scores are only a small part of your application.

^What is this I don’t even.

A 34 is a great score. But a 35 is just that much better in my opinion. However, I wouldn’t go for it unless all the schools you’re applying to have score choice. Also, very few schools superscore the ACT like they do with the SAT. If you have the time, meh why not?

Lol ACT36Warlord sounds like someone jealous of those with high 30s but are still striving for a higher score. Because of this, he makes derogatory posts to put down such people, so they will not attempt to increase their score.

Just a thought.

OP: If you’re a junior, retake it. There’s not much you can do to change your ECs and whatnot. If you’re a freshman or sophomore, wait. Focus on other things instead.
Also, I know someone with a 34 that got into Harvard.

Don’t retake it! I would give my kidney to have your scores. They are amazing. And I have a pretty good kidney too.

Test score is just one of the admission parameters. 34 is high enough to secure that part of the game. However, if you do strongly feel you can do better that this and you have nothing to do after subject test on 6/1, you may try it again on 6/8. I would suggest to spend the summer on essays, school applications and visit and do not think about retaking it after June.
