^^^I feel your frustration. :-(

Its getting harder and harder to defend him…Its his second year, and at many times this team looks horrible. We’re supposed to be one of the best programs in the nation, but everyone looks at us as an underachiever. People keep saying just wait, but when do you draw the line?

I still support him, but they need to show up on Saturdays

They also need to play a full game. It seems the last couple weeks they forgot that the game doesn’t end at half time!

mann, 5 straight big ten losses. Tough one to swallow, come on, losses to Illinois and Purdue? Maybe we should’ve gone for Brian Kelly instead. Just look at Cincinnati. Why did he go for it on the 4th down? I don’t really get it.

yeah Michigan football is going through rough times right now, the thing is the Big 10 (currently) as a whole is probably considered by the rest of the nation as the second worst BCS automatic qualifying football conference after the Big East, while losses against Penn St. are acceptable, Illinois and Purdue is just embarrassing, theres no reason with the vast amount of resources, time, and wealthy alumni’s bank accounts we have invested in our football program that we can’t turn this thing around, it’s going to take some time and patience, but RR’s time is running out quick, he better hopes he gets an upset next week vs Wisconsin or at home against OSU

Our new conditioning coach was supposed to turn our guys into conditioned maniacs who would trample the other teams in the second half. However, in the last 3 games, we’ve been outscored 75-12 in the second half. We should get the old conditioning coach back.

Some players already said that UM football under RR felt more like a business than a family (a family–like it used to be), and left. I guess this is the importance of having a “Michigan Man” as head coach; someone who is here because they are passionate about the UM family rather than someone here because they want the money (in another thread a few days ago someone wondered why a ‘Michigan Man’ was a desirable characteristic for our coach… here’s the answer). Additionally, as Bearcats has pointed out in the past, a family doesn’t throw any member (Zoltan Mesko) under a bus on live TV (blaming a failed fake punt on Zoltan).

I still support our football team 110% and will continue to do so. As for the coaches, not at all. Coaches are supposed to cultivate the growth of talent (player development, team development throughout the season and beyond), not destroy it. I wish I got paid $2 million a year to make nothing out of something.

^^^Michigan’s D is so simple that it is so easy to make adjustments. The guys are well condition. The starters play the whole game because our backups are even worse than they are. The only backups who ever see a down are some of the linebackers.

Idk, it seems like our secondaries get burned a lot. Not even limited to the second half, just in general. I really don’t see any significant improvement in conditioning. We have some fast guys, but they were fast when they came here.

Now tell us how you really feel bearcats! hehe!

Seriously, RR will have one more season. If he cannot win 8+ games next season, he is out.

Didn’t MSC say something that it’s not fair to give a coach only 2-3 years just last week? We might be stuck with this guy through 2011. It all depends on who the new AD is.

Michigan will eventually rebound, with or without Rodriguez. There is just too much infrastructure to support to let this continue indefinitely.
