I got rejected. I'm wondering where your plan B is if you got rejected?

Personall, I'll be going to Minn-Twin Cities with $11K+ per year in schollies...fine for me! :)

either University of Toronto or University of Waterloo.

probably rice

I will probably attend Vanderbilt because I received a full tuition scholarship, but I am still hoping for the University of Chicago, Harvey Mudd, and Northwestern (Honors Program in Medical Education).

Dartmouth. Or Princeton if I get accepted.

Caltech!!! So I’m not too upset :-D

At the rate this is going, I’m hoping for Berkeley. :/

Caltech for sure (accepted EA), unless I get into Harvard or Stanford.

Probably UVa, because it’s a state school and the cost of attending will be substantially. That is, of course, unless I get substantial aid from either of the two Ivies I applied to.

I don’t know at this moment. I am waiting on a few more privates. But MIT was definitely, by a HUGE margin, my top choice. So I guess the rejection did come with some level of pain and despair. But life goes on, as I shall be back 4 years (if not earlier through transfer).

As of now, my top school is UCSD. But I am still waiting on UCSB, Rice, UPenn, and Cal. So that is no where set in stone.

To all those rejected: I know MIT is a great school and the rejection is a painful process. But keep in mind that where ever you go, you have your future in your hand. Let it be MIT or just a third rate college, you decide your future (after all, there is always MIT OCW <3)

Mmmm Im waiting on UPenn (my top choice), Princeton, Rice, and UChicago.

If not, I am probably going to Drexel and then transfer.

Wish me luck guys!!! =)

Probably UMich, since the likelihood of me getting into UChicago, Brown, and Stanford is virtually nonexistent.

To all who got rejected: remember, it will only affect you as much as you let it affect you…

Just got rejected from M.I.T. Guess its now left with Stanford

nowhere, I guess.

some university in my country. actually, the best one. but, universities in my country suck :/

still waiting on other ivies but i already got into cornell so…

Probably UIUC, unless ds gets the Chancellors Scholarship at Pitt, or gets into Harvard.

Caltech for Undergrad, MIT hopefully for grad.

btw is it true that if you are undergrad in some school it’s harder to get to grad in the same school?? I mean I’ve heard they want to exchange students a bit…

penn state, UVa, or wpi

MIT grad is easier to get into then undergrad.
