Me too. I called ucla a couple of weeks ago and the lady was way nicer than the berkeley person I spoke to.

I’m pretty good on the phone. What’s the question?

I think the question is whether being able to see a financial aid sunmary on ursa means acceptance to ucla?!

Bingo!^ ralph lawler voice

HAHA. oh, guys, admissions will never tell us that because it is a system fluke, not a UCLA-officiated indicator. furthermore, alerting them to the fact that past years have used that happy accident to get admissions information will absolutely destroy it for future transfer classes.

I have researched the past FOUR years on CC thoroughly (I’ve literally spent at least 4-5 hours on CC a day for the past month gathering information), and 99.99% of people who could see their finaid award package in URSA were accepted, with the .01% being those who either a) lied, b) messed up their finaid, or c) lied. If you want to do all the same research yourself, by all means. This is a good place to begin: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1135334-2011-ucla-transfer-applicants-decisions-only-thread.html

Let us know the answer please! Might allow me to sleep a few hours lol i hope i get into UCLA on 420 :p

Some sneaky bastards muuuuust know how to ask it in a round about way?

also, Justinetruant you are one dedicated CCer…

I feel like the UC Transfer forum should have a slogan of some kind… “One small slip up by UCs, one giant conclusion for transfer kind…”

@pavin, I think dedicated is probably the nicest way you could have put it, hahah ;)

MAYBE HIGHLY NEUROTIC

My mom worked in the financial aid office for a big university and she said they would not even receive the information of the rejected students because they don’t have time to waste. Admissions would send them the files of the admitted students on a rolling basis as they made their way through applications. So she says the fact that I can see the financial aid summary means I’ve been accepted. She didn’t work at a UC but I couldn’t imagine it being much different! We will all find out tomorrow night though! Good luck!!!

@LAladyy
i think you just made plenty of people very happy!

Has anyone not be able to see the Financial aid thing?

I can see the Fin aid summary on (View Financial aid awards and summary on USRA), but not the one above it(view Efan and financial aid awards on MyFAO). Now when I go to the 3rd tab(Fincancial Aid Document Track) it says FAFSA recieved from central processing, then COMPLETED 2012-04-18 is that good? I can also access my housing application, does this mean anything? Im trying to remain calm till official decisions are out tomorrow… XD

yes it’s a good sign. and no one can see the one on the top from myfao
