Ok so I just want to clarify this cause every school seems to have different rules and I am clearly missing something when I here things like "score choice" and what not. So there is the question and if there are any past applicants or simply well-informed people out there please let me know which of these I should send my free 4 scores to when I register to take a test, since they are required to apply anyhow. Thanks.

Harvard
U Michigan

Princeton
UC Berk/LA
U Chicago

Cornell
U of I-CU

NYU

Columbia and Cornell require all SATs and SAT IIs. UCs require all SATs but not all SAT IIs (you can choose which, if any, SAT IIs to send). All the others you list allow score choice.

Btw, if you plan on taking both the ACT and SAT, it wouldn’t benefit to report your scores without comparing them to eachother. Even if a school requires you send all of your scores, you can choose either all of your SAT scores or all of your ACT scores.

Well, Kali22, i did in fact, check their websites. But unfortunately, I am apparently not capable enough to figure it all out for myself, and those lovely institutions are not capable of putting these statements in a direct, clear format for someone as illiterate as I apparently am…that’s why.

And thank you CheesePuffPoppin and especially drusba. That helps quite a bit. :)
