I am currently in a successful american boarding school I got a 107 on my Toefl but I am in English Ap and have a 90 which is considered as a really good grade( the english grades are really low in my school ). Should I take the Toefle again ? I am aiming for Ivy and Stanford It is really expensive

Anything over 100 is sufficient.

Stanford and Ivies are looking for truely exceptional international students: winners of international academic competitions, top athletes, promising aspiring politicians, etc. Your TOEFL score is not going to make or break your application; don’t waste your time or money.

What is your breakdown? 107 is decent but if you have already registered for a retake, try to aim for 114+. If you haven’t then probably leave it.

OP: Don’t listen to ivyleaguefan, there’s NO difference between 100, 107, 110, etc. As Skieurope and b@r!um stated, a TOEFL of 100 is sufficient and getting a higher score will not matter since admissions do not focus on this. Colleges will look at the score (100 or not?) and if you have it they’ll move on to the rest of your application - THAT will decide whether you’re admitted. TOEFL is meaningless for admissions, it’s just a threshold you need to pass. Don’t waste time or money on it. Spend time on your SAT score, your extra curriculars, etc.
