Hey everyone, my app had been lost in the process, so it's only been under review for the past few days now.

So my question is, is asking for an interview weird at this point? The MyRoc page says I'm on Step Two, but that could be misleading, as it generally takes a few days to update any changes.

Why wait until now to ask for an interview? You’ve had close to a year to ask for one and didn’t.

Besides I’m fairly certain Mike said they had stopped interviewing freshman applicants back in January. Too late now.

The reason I asked late is because

A. My parents hadn’t let me apply until I finally convinced them mid-February
B. I was told by my teachers not to worry about interviews because “they don’t matter;” I discovered their importance only recently.

And that’s fine, I just needed a simple “yes” or “no.” I didn’t need the extra scrutiny, but thanks for the response anyhow.

Magnificent—I’m confused. How could you apply in February when the deadline for Fall 2011 freshman applications was January 1, 2011?

I called up the office, explained my situation, and kindly asked for an extension. In fact, I had been conversing with one of the admissions officers a few days ago about a separate issue, and they informed me that they are still accepting applications.

Hi Magnificent… Unfortunately it is too late to offer an interview to prospective freshman, though your contact with the admissions office (as you referred to above) will be noted in your application and should help.

We do occasionally offer extensions to students that allow them to apply after the deadline.

Good luck!
