Too late to visit? / Hotels

I know freshmen are moving in, but is it too late to schedule a tour (the tour link on the Harvard website is down)? Also, does anyone know of cheap hotels in and around Boston? thanks

You can always go on the (somewhat obnoxious) Hahvahd Tour http://www.hahvahdtour.com/

Also, try giving the admissions office a call. Or, if you give me the dates you're coming, I can email some of my Crimson Key friends and see if they're running tours then.

As for hotels, try "Naming your own price" at Priceline. The Cambridge Hyatt (on the river, closer to MIT than Harvard) is often available for around $75/night.

If you have a car, look at hotels near Rt `128 in Waltham, MA--you may get a better deal if you stay 20 min or so outside of Cambridge--I think there is a Days Inn and Holiday Inn out that way

Admissions is still giving info sessions at 10AM and 2PM as well as tours at 11AM, 12:30PM and 3PM. Students don't actually move in until September 9th.

I got the Hyatt for 85$/ night...it was much cheaper than anything else I could find (though I didn't look too hard).

I'm coming in tomorrow morning, and should be able to make the info session and the tour.

Thanks for all the info.
