Too Many Required Courses That You Can't Do What You Want?

Yes! And the worst part is that, had I known it were possible I might have gotten out of two semesters of gym because I dance so much.

Yes... FOUR years of gym and a stupid art course. What am I going to do with that? Oh yeah and two years of American History. I really just don't care...

and FLVS can't work for me because gym is 1 credit and our gym is 4 credits..bleh

^ Can't you just take it four times?

Or, don't they have different levels on FVLA?

nvm..its actually only 0.5 credit..so gym EIGHT times would be ridiculous imo and I'd waste a lot of money.

^ Oh wow. That would be a lot.

We basically have one elective we can take every year from a list of like five courses. You either take regular, honors, or AP of a class, you have no choice on the subject matter. That's why I can't wait to go to college.

P.E., health, and basketball (an emergency replacement for driver's ed after the teacher quit) were all requirements that sucked. I had a lot of core requirements (3 years of social studies and 3 of math, for example, if I remember correctly) but I would have taken those courses anyway and I think its good that they are required. People should come out of high school with a minimum competency in mathematics, sciences, english, and social studies.

Oh yeah, I was also forced to take 2 years of a foreign language. Not because of the school, but because of university and scholarship requirements. I ended up taking french, and it sucked DX
