Too many SAT subject tests... will this hurt?

I want to send my SAT (2350 superscore) but I also took 6 SAT IIs… I took 3 each time for 2 test dates.

Due to Duke’s score reporting policy, would it just be better to send ACT? (34 two times)
Thank you!

Send that sat bruh

Unless you really bombed your SAT II’s, I doubt it will hurt, and the 2350 is very strong.

How did you do on the ACT and subject tests? If you did fine on the subject tests, don’t worry about it and just send everything. If some of the subject test were low (like really low), but your ACT is a 35 or 36, then maybe just send that. I doubt that taking too many subject tests would be frowned upon.

I got the same ACT score as you (34), and sent no subject tests, and was admitted. I know a few friends who did the same - don’t worry. I’d suggest you submit the ACT score by itself, IF the subject test scores were low (I guess lower than 730 ish on all three would be my threshold).

I’d probably send everything (SAT, SAT IIs, and ACT). Your SAT and ACT scores are great and just reinforce your academic aptitude. They’ll consider your strongest score anyways, but having additional evidence makes it all that much more clear (assuming your SAT IIs are also solid). I submitted my ACT and SAT IIs – never took the SAT – and got in.

this is what they posted on their website:
“For students who choose to submit SAT scores, Duke will use the highest available Critical Reading, Writing and Math scores, plus the two highest subject test scores, regardless of the date those tests were taken. Our school code for the SAT is 5156.”

no need to worry

Thank you everyone!
