Hi everyone,

I'll be a sophomore next semester at the University of Florida. I took 1.5 years off college after my grandparents became sick and to start a small business (that didn't really take off till recently). What my chances for transfer into Penn CAS Econ?

My Stats:
- UF Scholarship (Came for this...I did get into Cornell back in HS though)
- First Sem GPA: 3.8 (Presidential Honor Roll)
- Second Sem GPA: 3.4
- Cumulative: 3.6
- Microeconomics (A+)
- Did NOT take Calculus (but I got A- in Computer Programming...will that help?)

SATs: 700V, 750M, 720W

SAT Math Level I: 760

VERY NICE HS and College professor recs

Is it even worth applying? They will definitely ask why the heck I took 1.5 years off college. To be honest my family was in a bad time but there really isn't much I can talk about.
