what are the top 10 most difficult majors?

what are the easiest majors?

First off, majors are administered through the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, not by individual colleges within the University. Second, it’s hard to say what majors are the easiest or hardest. I was a history major and it wasn’t necessarily hard, but it wasn’t particularly easy either. What one deems easy, in my opinion, is highly idiosyncratic. For example, if you enjoy literature, then a major in that field would seem easier to that specific person. I found that a lot my friends had better GPAs in more quantitative majors like mathematics, than in more qualitative majors like philosophy. This is perhaps due to the subjective nature of grading in the latter major. With regards to work load, I would say that the scienes are the heaviest.

Thanks for the reply but would you consider economics as a difficult major. I wanted to double major in economics and biochemistry because I want to get into business with medical companies that supply hospitals.

From what I gathered from friends who were econ majors, it was a fairly challenging major. For those who are not strong in mathematics, the requirements can be quite challenging - I believe that you must take Calculus III. Again, if you enjoy high level mathematics, then this shouldn’t be a problem for you.

Many of my closest friends were Econ majors, and they all seemed to have significant workloads. That being said, I personally knew three people who graduated with 4.0 GPAs as Econ majors.

Personally, I imagine that I would have been quite bored as an Econ major, and my GPA probably would have suffered as a result.

Have a nice smile and a shapely figure. These are pre-reqs for pharmaceutical reps.

Presumably, OP wants to be a chemist working in drug discovery, not a pharma rep. Chem (in CC) or ChemE (in SEAS) is probably best for that.

(Just a note: pharma reps probably get paid better.)
