Which are the top 3 department or schools at JHU. Thanks

The best known for the undergraduate studies are probably Biomedical Engineering (and any of the bio, chem, phys, eng majors), Public Health Studies, and International Relations.

For grad school, of course the best is the Johns Hopkins school of Medicine, and then the nation’s first and best School of Public Health (Bloomberg), and the School of Advanced International Studies (Nitze).

I agree with what Anouchi says. I’d add Art History, which is a very small program but one of the best in the country. Computer Integrated Surgery is only a minor at JH, but I imagine that no other school has anything like it.

Also add on Writing Seminars

Writing Seminars (Creative Writing) at JHU is also one of the best departments in the country.

Also the Peabody Conservatory of Music :)

Our Graduate History program was ranked 9th in the country last year, and I’m pretty sure we were ranked higher this year. I’m a history major undergrad (as well as writing sems) and my experience in the program has been magnificent. Amazing classes, amazing professors. Most sophomores take a two-semester course in which you are basically given the freedom to research any topic in history you want and then write a thesis. The history program sort of falls under the radar but it’s a really, really good department.
