I clearly love Dartmouth and will defend it, but I won't pretend its better than Penn, Brown, Duke, or Columbia. The differences are too small to rank any of these as better than another.

Also, have you noticed how people write things like "Notre Dame is a great school, along the lines of Georgetown or Holy Cross."

This is ridiculous. SO MUCH pumping of schools here. I think there should be a CC rule, you cant rank your own school....Mesaboogie: Loves Brown: Says its better than Dartmouth.

Except I'm not going to Brown next year...I'm off to somewhere else. Next guess?

Slipper, it is your opinion that Michigan is not as good as the Ivies. But according to academe and the corporate world, as an undergraduate institution, Michigan is given the same academic rating and reputation score as Cornell and Penn and a higher rating than Brown and Dartmouth. At the graduate level, Michigan is actually better than most Ivies.

This is the stupidest post ever. You know why? Because the maximum number of undergraduate schools ANY of you will ever actually experience is basically two at the most. How can you rank schools you've never taken a class at, gotten a feel for professors or actually proven success to yourself.
