what are some activities you do (or plan to do)?

are there membership fees for the gym and tennis courts? i know at stanford you need to pay membership for their nice gym, and need to reserve courts beforehand =T

i know poker and ultimate frisbee are prevelant pasttimes, anything else?

is beer pong the one where you stack up a triangle of cups and try to throw a ball into the opponent's cups?-- allowing you to douse them with the water/beer-filled cup

We have to pay for the gym... :(
Have you thought about trying a martial art? Colleges tend to have quite a few represented on campus, and it's a great way to get to know new people.

beer pong is when you throw a ping pong ball into the other person's triangle of cups, and when you get it in they have to drink the cup of beer. Person with no more cups loses.

anyway...
Ultimate is good exercise, and very popular.
Many people do yoga and martial arts too.

I didn't know schools charged for their gym... interesting. Ours is free to students (meaning it's built into the other fees, but yea)

that's actually beirut you all are talking about. Beer pong involves putting cups at certain spots on a ping pong table and playing a game of ping pong, if a ball ever lands in a cup, the person on that side of the table drinks, also the loser of the game (for instance you play to 7 points) drinks their side of the table or some variation. Oh yeah, the cups get refilled, so yeah, u play to like 7, 11, 21, any usual ping pong final score.

Well I'm one of the instructors of the taekwondo club in my college for next year... :)
Just using my school as an example, we have TKD, karate, kickboxing, kung fu, tai chi, ninjutsu, aikido, judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

I would train 6-8 hours a week in TKD, plus 2 hours gym time. But I'm on my college's senior team for tournaments, (placed 2nd in Irish Intervarsities this year :) ) so I train more than most. I also had to put in a lot of training this year because of training for 1st dan black belt.

Some of the other clubs would only train 2 hours a week though.
