Top Ten Reasons on Why F&M

I'm accepted and can't decide! Please tell me ten great things about F&M. I'd also appreciate hearing ten worst things too. And please tell me if you're a student, parent, alum, etc. Thank you!!!

Future student! Class of 2015 :D

Top Ten:

 1. Barshinger Life Sciences & Philosophy Building <3
 2. The beautiful campus
 3. The wonderful admissions & teaching staff (handwritten letters from the admissions counselor I interviewed with, an impromptu tour of the neuroscience labs, etc.)
 4. Its emphasis on research, community service, and study abroad plus all the opportunities it provides
 5. Its proximity to hospitals/health care facilities
 6. The relatively small student body and small student to faculty ratio
 7. The number of foreign languages offered
 8. No graduate students to compete with
 9. Its proximity to the Amish population (perfect for genetic research)
 10. Its excellence in all fields, especially science :)

Sorry if a lot of this is science stuff…I’m not sure what you’re interested in, but I know a lot of the science aspects really sealed the deal for me :)

Thanks potential future classmate! It sounds like you’ve made your decision. Congrats! Still wavering here, but also interested in bio and liked some of the same things you mentioned. I’ve visited campus twice, and liked it a lot – in fact, I probably would be pretty happy here. But I have several choices that strike me as similar, and I just can’t differentiate and decide.
But one big plus for me, is that you can fly into Phila airport and take a train from right within the airport to Lancaster (or so I’m told!). Coming from West coast, that’s a biggie for me.
