Topic Choice?

Hey guys, I'm just looking for some advice on what subject to write on for the Common App's essays.

Personal Essay:
Changing Perspective: From Player to Coach, about my experience as interim coach of my basketball team for a month.
Motivation, examining how my motivation has vacillated from internal to external over the years, and how I have matured from it.

ECs (obviously depending on what I choose for the personal essay):
Basketball (Captain/Coach thing perhaps?)
Explaining a computer simulation of volleyball I made as a Junior, which determined what effect the new scoring rules have had on the games competitiveness.
Explaining a statistical survey I conducted as a Sophomore, which tested the general publics awareness of the art world's widely accepted design principles.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

There is excellent advice here:

[Essays, Admission Information, Undergraduate Admission, U.Va.](http://www.virginia.edu/undergradadmission/writingtheessay.html)

I was having trouble choosing a topic too, so I just spent some time exploring each topic, doing some prewriting, and I narrowed it down to two essay topics I felt would best express who I am. Then I spent a couple of hours (2-3), getting as far as I could with both essays, and it just became really clear to me at that point which essay I should write (the one I felt happier working on, the one I thought was stronger, etc.)

Hope that helps!
