So I was admitted to both, and I have no idea of which one I prefer.
In some aspects, I prefer Berkeley's limitless opportunities. I am intrigued by the college's history, and I love the college town. However, I fear that I will lose myself within, as I am used to small class sizes and close relationships with teachers.

Meanwhile, Claremont McKenna sounds great as well. I love the research institutes, as I am passionate about social justice etc. I love activism work, and I like CMC's leadership emphasis. I love how the campus is small and resources are shared between the 5Cs. I think it would be really cool to have a history/political science major while participating in the pomona-pitzer media studies program. I also think that the quality of life would be better, but the atmosphere lacks the type of diversity that I would find at Berkeley.

I guess ultimately, I'm wondering what research opportunities would look like for me at Berkeley. I plan on doing some sort of history/sociology/polisci major. I am considering law/journalism school, and I wonder which college would be best for my pursuit of higher education after Berkeley/CMC.

Please include perspectives and help me evaluate pros/cons of both schools!

Money is also not so much of an issue as I'll be paying for my education. I hope to continue applying for independent scholarships and grants.
