Torn between Mass Communication and Pshycology majors. Help!

I am currently a college sophomore majoring in mass communication(MC) with a broadcasting consentration. I have taken 3 MC classes so far along with my gen ed. And I love it so far alothugh, while my classes are very creative in the media that we create, I feel like I’m lacking the cirtical thinking that I felt when I took Sociology, Pshycology, Philosophy, and even Composition as part of my gen Ed (I attend a liberal arts college). I love Pshycology because I am really fasincated by how people think and why they do things and are the way they are. I’ve always spent a little too much time taking personally quizzes on the Internet, and end up putting too much stock in the results afterwards. I would have undoubtedly considered a Pshycology major before beginning college if I had been introduced to it in high school.
Career wise, I am uncertain. I have always seen myself pursuing a career in media of some sort be it editing, sp fx, print writing, reporting, radio. Any of the above.
However I think I would much rather study Pshycology. I’m not really sure what I would do with it afterwards though. I do plan on attending graduate school 3 years from now. I don’t yet know what I would study.
I thought about double majoring but I don’t have the money to do that at this moment. Would it be possible to major in MC for undergrad and Psych for grad? Or is there a such thing a a concentration in grad school that combines both majors? If so what would be a good university? (I want to complete grad school at a different university than my own.)
Should I just switch altogether and become a psych under grad major? Someone please give me some insight, I’m going in circles.

Why don’t you major in one and minor in the other?

While it’s theoretically possible to do a communications major in undergrad and a psychology graduate degree, it ends up costing you more in the long run - you’ll have to take all those psychology classes you did not take as a non-degree student before being competitive for a graduate program.

If you want a career in media, why not major in communications and minor in psychology? There are lots of things that you can love but not necessary major in.
