Totally Confuzzled Student needs some help

<p>okay, I'm accepted and probably going to Stanford. They offer no merit aid. Not to be selfish or anything since my family is well off, but Stanford's price is no mere pocket change x.x</p>

<p>-I don't qualify for financial aid, and I checked the box that said I will NOTask for finaid. Do I still file the FAFSA/CSS to get loans and stuff?
-If scholarships say they consider demonstrated need, should I bother applying? My counselor said still apply anyway, but I don't want to waste my time.
-Should I apply for Fastweb scholarships?</p>

<p>u can't get any federal loans if you don't file the FAFSA</p>

<p>and i dont know anyone who wins fastweb ones because so many poeple try, but if u've got extra time.... it can't hurt i guess</p>
