I have a dilemma and forgive me if I ramble for a minute. I am a Penn State student at one of the smallest branches. I am a business administration student. I've been considering becoming an accounting student but I would have to transfer to a different branch and living at college is just out of the question. I found a college with an accounting degree that is willing to accept most of my credits, the school would only throw me off 3 classes which I can make up over the summer. Penn state is 3 grand more a semester to attend than the other school, Slippery Rock University. I would attend this school and get my bachelor's in accounting and then attend Youngstown State to get my MBA. My other option is to stick out Penn State and get my bachelor's in Business, and then get my Master's in Accounting. Will a master's in accounting allow me to get the CPA certification and is it worth it to get both degrees? Should I go bachelor's in accounting, then Master's in Business, or the other way around. In a dilemma, give advice please. I'm nervous to switch because I'm doing well after a very rough start and recovering my GPA. Another benefit of switching would be a fresh start to my GPA. Please Help !!!!
Thanks guys,
Josh
