What are the hardest and most challenging classes for you specifically that you are the most worried about this upcoming fall? Why?

For me it's definitely Pre-Calculus Honors. I am not the strongest math student and it will take a lot of dedicated work for me to pull off a low A.

Definitely IB Bio and English. The class of 2013 valedictorian came into our AP Euro class at the end of the year, and made a quick remark about how they only learned half the syllabus in Bio, and most of the kids I’ve talked to in the class of 2014 have said that the teacher is bad. So that’s just awesome. For English, I’ve heard the teacher is really strict and the class is boring, and that there’s a ton of work. Plus, I’m really nervous for the oral commentaries we have to do.

Definitely UConn Economics. I am one of two sophomores to ever take it; the other sophomore is a school legend. There is also a lot of summer homework, but it is so rewarding.

I actually half expected a senior to post their free period as their toughest class, perhaps because they wouldn’t know what to do with all that time!

^Tell me about it. I managed to struggle to get an A the whole year, and then I tanked the finals, got a C, because I didn’t understand the directions. All because it was in ENGLISH! And they were non-existent. Oh well.

IB History- Super worried. It’s a 2-year class. I got a C first semested and barely managed a B second semester. I also hated my teacher and he could be my teacher next year

AP Physics C-I took Hon Physics i Sophomore year with a break in b/w. Also, I’ll be taking Calc concurrently so I won’t have the math at the beginning either

Only class I’m really worried about is AP Chem. As long as I don’t procrastinate too badly next year, I’ll be able to handle the others I think lol

Honors Pre-Calc - I greatly dislike math, and the class is taught by the same teacher I’ve had for the past 2 years. I struggle to keep up a high B/low A :(

AP physics C and AP calculus AB! I still question why I choose those classes… I really hate math, but kind of enjoy physics. But, in order to take AP physics C, you need to take a calculus class with it, which sucks.
