Touring U Michigan question

My daughter is a senior and we will visit Univ of Michigan, never been to Ann Arbor before. How much time, realistically should we stay so she gets a feel for the school? Is one day enough?

We are hoping there will be more in person tour dates opening up.

I would think one day would be enough. We spent about three hours in Ann Arbor because we were just driving through. Even so, we felt like we were able to get a reasonable feel for the campus.

My kid will apply for engineering, so we headed to North Campus first. We walked around the open area there, “the Grove,” then headed to the music school. No buildings were open (this was in June). We headed to Central Campus, walked “the Diag,” and had dinner at the Red Hawk (apparently an Ann Arbor institution and recommended by a friend).

Having a full day would allow you to see the dorms, which we weren’t able to, and to explore the town a bit.
