After contacting the UCF Housing department, they switched my contract to one for the Towers starting in Fall 2011. I have some questions about the Towers (I'll be in Tower III, since that's the Honors Housing, if it matters, and I'll be in a 4/2 since that's the cheapest).

Are the rooms mixed? Since everyone has their own room, will guys and girls share an apartment? Or are they single-sex?

What does the kitchen come with? What doesn't it come with?

Since both freshman and upperclassmen live in the Towers, are there as many activities as there would be in all-freshman dorms?

Do they try and keep freshman together, or at least with sophomores? Or is there a decent chance I'll be rooming with seniors/graduate students?

What's different about the Honors housing than normal? Different activities? Less parties?

Also, some general housing questions:

What's the policy on overnight guests?

I heard there's something where the RAs bring you a cake on your birthday? I'll be moving in on my 18th birthday, so I'd like to know more about this.

Is the internet wireless?
