I posted a thread before asking people to chance me for NYU CAS, but recently I became interested in the Media Communications program. I want to have a major at CAS too but I have to get into the Steinhardt school in order to easily declare the double major at CAS.

So I am a freshman at Baruch College with an undeclared major. I am currently taking the typical liberal arts courses (Writing I, Calculus, Sociology, Theatre, American History), will take a course during the winter, and five more during spring (Intro to Business, Writing II, Political Science, Psychology, Communications).

I graduated from Frank Sinatra School of the Arts this June with a 93 average, ranked 12/161, and as a member of the National Honor Society with a NYS Comptroller Award for Academic Excellence and Leadership in the Community. I took music and academic classes with 4 AP classes. I played the violin in the school orchestra (which won a NYSSMA Gold Medal Level VI for playing Beethoven's 5th Symphony), part of the orchestra committee, one of the editors for the school magazine, debate team, and 300 hours of community service. I screwed up on the tests though. I got a 25 for the ACT, 600 for SAT Subject Test- Math Level I, and 540 for the Literature one.

At Baruch, I am a Class Representative got the Undergraduate Student Government, President and Founder of a Club, member of the Finance & Economics Society, and will be a Peer Mentor later on. In addition, I have a part time job at the 92nd Street Y during the weekends.

If my GPA first semester will be a 3.7, will I have a chance to get into the Media program at Steinhardt?
