Tranferring summer class credits?

Hey guys,

I recently got accepted to UCLA and UCB (among others) for Fall '13 and I'm thinking about taking a couple (UC transferable) classes this summer at my CC. Prereqs and IGETC are already finished, but I am hoping to get a credit cushion so that I don't have to start off with a heavy course load. My question is, will the credits go toward the required credits I need to graduate? I will have exactly 60 at the end of this semester, so I would have 66 at the end of summer.

Thanks!

You can do that , but if you fail ether class for whatever reason UCB/UCLA will resend your admission .

Ask a consoler from UCB/UCLA before hand regardless

The UCB contract states that you have to talk to an admission officer if you take classes this summer. I’m sure UCLA is similar

This won’t help you graduate any faster because you still have to take 90 (?) units of upper division units regardless of how many lower division credits you have.
