Today I got an e-mail saying "thanks for your application" and to check my status on their website. So when I log into gatorlink, it says that they received my application on 11/1, but it also says that they received my transcript on 1/3! I'm a bit confused as I requested for them to be sent in mid-October. Am I still considered as a "priority applicant" who applied by the deadline?

Maybe they got sent your first semester of senior grades along with your previous transcript that was hopefully sent in mid October?

I just called the Office of Admissions because mine read the same way. We are still considered priority applicants.

I would inquire with your High School registrar.

If your High School sent your first semester senior grades without UFL asking for them, then no issue.

If your High School sent in your first semester senior grades at the request of UFL, then you are still in the hunt.

If your High School just now sent in your high school transcript to UFL, I’d be seriously upset…

This almost happened to me before. My school just would not send my transcript. I keep bugging my counselor till he had it done himself. Not sure how much of a big deal it is, but I think schools MUST send them in sometime before the end of the year (2012, in this case). With over 30,000 apps and I month left, I don’t think UF has time to deal with “late” people. Its not your fault, but UF assumes you to be responsible. Hopefully you can work it out or its not a big issue.
